Chaldean Numerology

Chaldean Numerology is the Numerology advocated by Cheiro and Pandit Sethuraman. It differs from Pythagorean Numerology in that, no letter of the English alphabet has a value of 9.

In Pythagorean Numerology, the value of letters from A to I have values from 1 to 9 respectively. J to R, S to Z restarts with 1 to 9 and 1 to 8.

In Chaldean Numerology, the values of letters are as follows:

1: A, I, J, Q, Y
2: B, K, R
3: C, G, L, S
4: D, M, T
5: E, H, N, X
6: U, V, W
7: O, Z
8: F, P

Names will thus have a numerical value, called the Name Number which has to be in harmony with the Birth Number and the Destiny Number for it to confer maximum benefits.

PANDIT SETHURAMAN = 23 + 36 = 59 (5 + 9 = 14; 1 + 4 = 5)
CHEIRO = 23 (2 + 3 = 5)
B. V. RAMAN = 2 + 6 + 13 = 21 (Famed astrologer from Bangalore)
